“How to Engage Online for Improvised Play”- Guide by multiPLAY collective “The Remotions” launches!

We are delighted to share our how-to guide “How to Engage Online for Improvised Play”, showing how “The Remotions”, our collective that grew from early multiPLAY experiments, learned how to improvise in realtime over the internet. This guide shares tools and practices for sharing high quality audio, video, and live digital art and how “The Remotions” reached their public and each other across space and time, by using 360-degree live streaming.

Thank you to York University, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for supporting this knowledge mobilization.

Many thanks to Gao Yujie for her design, and to John Campbell for technical oversight, and to all the members of “The Remotions” for all the wonderful playful explorations that have led to this guide.
