Workshops for Prairie Sound Artists

Holophon Audio Arts Inc (Regina, SK) explores sound art and experimental music in Saskatchewan. The group’s projects include spatialization with contemporary VR/AR technology and an exploration of a sense of place within an imagined sonic environment. By working with these new presentation technologies, they envision a new way of hearing sound art from a different perspective. They are creating a number of public events where people can learn about a variety of sound techniques in different ways. We hope to encourage audio art in the province and support audio artists with new ways of working.
